I've had 3 of these Simmons shower valves for over 30 years. The trim uses a clear plastic knob and a now very worn out backer template. Everything about the trim was very tired and the socket portion of the knob broke when I was trying to remove it to change the actual pressure balancing valve insert. This new design is significantly cleaner looking and will likely easily outlast my previous plastic valve handle. I like this so much that I subsequently ordered 2 more for my other taps.. Bill. Durable, stainless steel, baffle filter for use with select Zephyr range hoods. The interlocking baffles allow for more capture of grease in the filters due to the rapid flow of changing air direction.
