I think the pan should be a bit heavier on the edges, at least in spots where shims may be needed. The pan instructions talk about using a mortar bed. Maybe in 1950! Very nice shower, shipping took a while as it came from the US. My husband and I put it together. Took a while for just the two of us to figure it out. The instructions are not the best as the measurements are confusing for the placement of the acrylic panels. We learned this after we had them glued in place.
