I like to drink a couple times a day and i find this mug to be the perfect size for a normal sized tea bag and it keeps it at the right temp for me. Mikasa glass is always thick, high quality. I wasn't initially super excited about the gold (would have preferred the blue, but those were oos when I needed this item).
