Well, we just got 18” of snow here so this unit is not going to be installed any time soon but I’m really looking forward to trying it. We have relatives that have these in hot weather and they work great to cool a room without having to have the expense of having a central unit or pay the electric bill for cooling the entire house. The inverter option is great for climates that have short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! Heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote is a must, but these work great with the thermostat so just set the temperature you’re comfortable with and that’s it! This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. There was no assembly, so from opening the box to getting it going was quick and easy. So far, it works as expected. The remote has a lot of useful functions including turn off and on the lights at night to reduce the brightness for light sleepers. A few things to know beforehand. Ordered it for my kitchen renovation. Looks like a good quality sink. I find the 27” size very convenient - it’s not too big and not to small. This is a great undermount steel sink. Size is pleasant for being only 22 inches, and deep, in order to accommodate items without splashing. There is some kind of sound deadening foam panels adhered to all sides, and the whole of the underneath of the basin has been coated with some kind of sprayed on dampening to help prevent echoing and clattering. I love that it comes with everything you need. The basket drain assembly was included and is good, the protective grill and a cutting board. Overall amazing value!. David. West Palm Beach.
