Looks very clean and modern, it was easy to install for two DIYers after watching ProLine video on YouTube. Sounds reasonable in our open plan kitchenhouse. Even though the shroud is wide, the air guide behind it on top of the motor doesnt leave a lot of space for the electrical outlet, so I recommend placing the outlet higher and off to the side.. HORRIBLE experience all around from Wayfair. This item arrived not working. Called wayfair, who immediately washed their hands of it and said I had to call the supplier - Eurochef. I stated that I was confused because if I order a product from Wayfair, I expect to deal with wayfair. I called Euorchef and started over 2 months of back and forth. Eurochef's employees are downright rude and hateful. I've never been treated so poorly in all my life. The owner of the company insisted over and over there was nothing wrong with the unit. And it was our electric. Paid our electrician to come and test his brand new wiring while on the phone with Eurochef's tech line. Waited for eurochef to send techs to fix the unit. They came twice and could not get the unit to work. I have spent days of my life dealing with this, I have been holding a contractor- paying him thousands weekly to keep him from moving to his next job because my kitchen cant be completed without this installed. I took days off work to meet the tech company, I had to reach out a total of 23 times between eurochef, wayfair, and the tech company they assigned... and finally was told they can't fix the unit and will refund my money. Was also told by wayfair I could wait for a replacement to come back in stock or get a refund. 2 days later I have to call wayfair AGAIN because there is no trace of the refund. They show no correspondence about that refund taking place. Finally after another 20 mins of my life wasted they agree to refund the item (for the second time). And I ask what will be done for all the money I am now out from this whole experience. Nothing. They tell me nothing can be done. I will never purchase again from Wayfair. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him. The item itself is perfect, but the delivery was very stressful. The driving did not know how to back up a truck, he hit signs on our property and almost destroyed them.
