It arrived undamaged and as described. We've been using it for about a year and it's been great! It's quieter than I expected at 1200 CFM, and certainly at least as quiet as the more expensive hoods at the appliance store (although it's probably slightly louder than lower-flow hoods, so adjust your expectations based on that!).. Just had the hood installed last Tuesday, but the grill is not hoojed up yet so really havent used hood to see how it works. It is sleek looking and doesnt dominate our small outdoor kitchen area, which is what we we wanted. The fan does seem quite loud though even on a '1' setting so a little disappointed about that. We had looked at another hood with style design and they touted a very quiet fan, but they were out of stock so we'll never know. The suction power on the fan is noticeably stronger than the old one I had installed in my kitchen. It’s 500 CFM really makes a difference. The installation was straightforward and taking out the old unit and installing this one was so much easier no excessive tools were needed. Since the vent opening was already in its original place it made the ductwork connection simple. The LED light was visible without being overwhelmingly bright and the recessed/ceiling lights were very bright which I need when cooking during dark periods. The noise level of the fans are reasonable for its value, it is not overly loud though you can definitely hear it. The white finish is stunning although it does leave finger prints behind but I don’t think anybody would or touch the body after installation, only touching the buttons is needed after (the fun part). It works great! For the price, it’s a great value. The fan works perfectly, and as other reviews have stated, it’s not loud on one or two, but it does get loud at three and up. I do wish the controls were a little more intuitive but one thing I love is that the same controls are on both sides of the vent (one set front left, one set back right), so it doesn’t matter which way it’s installed, and you can access buttons from the left or right. We bought this in August of '21 and love it. It's a sleek design and the fan works great. If I would change anything, I would have four lights instead of two to distribute the light better.
