The chair itself is fantastic. Very comfortable and well designed. The only issue I have with it is that some pieces were not fitting together properly upon assembly. A main hole in the back support was not threaded and the bolt provided could not secure properly (I had to thread the hole by hand). Secondly, the back rest bar did not fit into its base support. I had to grind down the bar in order to make it for correctly. Luckily I had the tools to fix these issues, but for the price you're paying, you'd think the manufacturer would have a better checking process of its final product. Returning the chair would have been too much of a hassle, so I decided to fix everything myself. But again, great product (so far* - 2 weeks in).

This chair is the exact mix of firm and soft to support my back and legs during the day at work.

This is a good chair. It is not a perfect chair, even at its price point - but it is a strong baseline for truly ergonomic office chairs (especially if you’re springing for your own to work from home). Pros - Seat is obviously comfortable. Backrest actually lets you sit up, rather than forcing a slight lean back, and has more lumbar support than most mesh chairs. Overall pretty low profile (mid-back and mesh helps with this), which is important in smaller spaces. There are enough adjustments that this chair should be functional, even if not perfect, for everyone. Cons - The armrests. They don’t raise very high unless you raise the whole chair. They’re wide even even at their narrowest setting, and I’m a 5’10 long-armed lady. (No tilt from side to side to help with this, either). They feel pretty nice, but are known to disintegrate - though replacements aren’t hard to come by. This is the biggest issue with the chair. Some helpful notes, based on common complaints I’ve read... 1) Pulling the back all the way up unlocks it, so that you can reset it to the lowest position. This isn’t super obvious so some might think the highest back setting is looseslides down gradually. Not the case. Ratchet it back up gradually. There is some side to side wiggle to the backrest, but I don’t find it disruptive. 2) The front lever (“D” on the instructions) is not useless it just might be a victim of the tension knob. The tension knob on my chair arrived so tight that it blocked the front lever from most of its range of motion. Loosen the tension knob, and this lever will let you not just control seat tilt (esp. forward seat tilt) but control it with much more easemuch less force.
