I really loved the idea of the folding side tables with cup holders but this one feature needs a lot of improvement. This is a great swing. It was fairly easy to put together, although it's helpful to have 2 people for some of it. There is a small dent in the top bar, but not bad enough to send back. Update 2026 - This swing continues to hold up very well it is on my back deck, and during the summer I do usually have a collapsable shelter awning over it I also take the cushions in if it is going to rain. This frame style, which I have had before, is the strongest, longest lasting frame. I still hae an older swing from over 10 years ago with the same style rrame. Previous “A” frame style swings quickly became unstable. For some reason this style of angled front legs attached to the back legs, is sturdier, stronger, lasts longer, even if the actual metal pipe structure is slightly smaller in diameter than the older swing. It is too bac this swing is only available in the cream color, or I would buy another for my sunroom. Who the heck would want light cream colored cushions for a back yard swing I don’t know what they were thinking. Anyway, I still recommend the swing and in particular this style of frame. I wish the other companies would listen and stop making those “A” frame swings - they just are not as sturdy! Original This swing is everything I’d hoped it would be! I saw that someone mentioned the seat was a bit high for them. I’m glad it is higher than my last swing, as it makes it so much easier for me to stand up. This type of frame is the best - I’ve had three similar swings over the last 15 or so years and the frame is sturdy and holds up well. And it is easy to put together, taking about an hour for one person. The seat-back is at a bit more of a straight angle than my previous swings, but it provides excellent support. One minor note - the canopy is not a solid cloth - it does let sun thru - so it is not going to keep one from burning in hot sun. All and all, this is a nice swing. Difficult to assemble because the instructions are hard to understand. It takes three people to assemble the canopy. One of the polls broke off the end as we were trying to slide the fabric on. Suggestion: tape the canopy rods together where they meet.
