Pros: Pretty good for the most part. Assembly is finicky, but straightforward (Lifetime has online videos that help a lot) and the unit is sturdy once finished. I filled with water and it feels stable for regular use. Lifetime website says the base does not need antifreeze during the winter; I put 2 gallons in anyway, but it's good piece of mind that the unit is designed to accommodate freezing and expansion. Cons: The poly backboard does sound like death whenever the ball hits it — it is what it is (perhaps an incentive to swish only). The box that it arrived in was ripping and had holes in all the corners, seems to be a weakness in packaging.
