I needed a ceiling fan for my screened-in porch. I didn't want to break the bank, so I waited for this to go on sale. Good quality, but not $875. (original price) worth of quality. I worried about the weight of the blades because it says "solid wood." I'm not sure that is the case, but then again, I'm not a carpenter. The blades are actually pretty. My concern was when I requested replacement of ceiling fan there were only 3 left in stock. Feared would not be able to get another. The process ultimately turned out ok but was not comfortable how issue was handled for above reason especially since recently purchasing 3.
