We are delighted with our replacement Breuer chair seats. The hardwood frame in Honey Walnut is a close match to the original wood on the chair backs. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. They were a splurge for me, but not as much as the Knoll version and these, too, are authentic! I love that they come from a dedicated Cesca chair factory in Italy. The quality and workmanship are evident (despite, yes needing to finesse a bit with the screws and assembly. Like another reviewer, I had been stalking second hand sites for Cesca chairs but they all had flaws etc. I then began to do my research and elected to go with this brand in terms of 'value for money.' They are beautiful chairs, very comfortable - although the manufacturer recommends adding a top pillow, I haven't done so yet and still find them comfortable - My husband and I like how they rock a bit. PLEASE NOTE: 1) if you have young ones in the house, you will have to remind them not to put their foot on the top of the cane surface of the chair. 2) The square part of the seat component should face the front; we installed one originally backwards (round part front) and they were tippy! (Per a reviewer's comment) - which led us to revisit the instructions and lo and behold, we had installed the seat backwards. There are a few images in the reviews that show this error (and these are likely the folks who also found the chair tippy). When installed correctly with square corners of the chair seat at the front - They are super stable (with a wonderful spring to them). LOVE the classic design and am VERY happy with this purchase :).
