Only time and the weather will tell but It seems like a sturdy chair after it was put together. Looks nice in my patio and comfortable to sit on. Assembling it was a bit challenging with the screws sometimes not smoothly getting into the holes but they all got screwed in with some effort. I hope it’s able to withstand the Texas heat.. Love the chair. It’s comfy and fits two comfortably! One star off cause the instructions could have been better and we did have to take it apart early on to put it together differently so the holes aligned. I really love the chair, but it was not "hard" to put together, but it was a pain to put together. That tool they give you is a pain to use. If you have a drill, use that. The other thing I do not like are the side pillows fall down a lot, they should of put some Velcro on that part of the cushions too. I think I'll get some velcro and do that myself.
