I was worried that the stool would be damaged based on the condition of the box but it was is perfect shape. Its an incredibly stunning, solid, and fully assembled piece of furniture. The slope of the seat is very comfortable and is a great height for sitting or to rest a foot while shaving. That said, I havent used it in the shower yet because I bought it for my new condo which is not yet built. I will interested to see how it holds up to moisture and repels mold.
