To measure your size correctly, remove the existing vent cover and measure the size of the duct. The duct opening size is what should be ordered. Update: the amount that this sits above the floor is so irritating when trying to vacuum or sweep around it. I have to get a cloth to clean between the vent and the baseboard because it doesn’t sit flush to the floor so you can’t push a vacuum right over top like a normal metal vent. I would not buy it again. Previous review on arrival: It looks very beautiful and modern, seems to be very high quality and sturdy. What I don’t like is how high above the floor it sits, if it was a high traffic area someone is definitely stubbing a toe on it.
