Overall, I liked this sliding door hardware kit. I bought it for my house entry way shoe closet and also for my kid's bedroom wardrobe. It does need a professional help and those tools that we don't keep at home, so it is definitely not a DIY. Keep that in mind. The lower black plastic door pass holder is very important for the doors to not dangle and fall off on anyone, so make sure that is installed rightaway on the floor. My issue was that one of the kit's front door roller is getting stuck in the middle part whether I slide the door right or left. It get's stuck and moves ahead after that freeze and shake. That is disturbing and I checked the whole rail and attachments and couldn't find anything. To report it, I did the option but there was no option to ask for a repair or a replacement part for the roller attachment. Just to register a complaint/resolution request, I checked the compensation option and immediately emailed the customer care too. What they did was issued a small amount as compensation and said that since the amount is compensated, nothing else could be done, which was such a bummer. In my email, I clearly told them that I want the resolution to be the replacement part of the roller attachment, so I could see if that makes the sliding smoother. Love my doors! My builder did a great job. He had never done bypass doors like this before. Now he’s ordering the hardware for his other customers! We had a double door entry to our master bedroom in our new home. there is a small landing off the stairs at the entry, low ceilings and only 24 inch clearance on the left side and none on the right. The opening is 60 inches. We wanted a barn style sliding door. One single 60inch door would not allow a large enough opening when the door was open, so double doors were the solution. Other barn door hardware needed additional overhead clearance to have a second rail for the second door, which we did not have. The top line double barn double door hardware was the best solution. Great quality easy to install . We needed an 82 inch rail so got the 96 inch and cut it down. The instructions for attaching the door hardware were clear and the template for placement was very helpful. I am woman and a novice DIYer. Did it myself. I did attach a 2x4 header to the ceiling above the door where the rail went and then attached the rail to as ceiling joists were 24 inches apart, it is very secure . the doors glide easily and smoothly with the push of 1 finger and are quiet. Their products have been redesigned with consumers in mind. They have changed products to have fewer pieces so installation is now more simple and quick. All tracks below 8 ft will come with 1 piece and the holes are 6" apart. All tracks above 8 ft will come with 2 pieces tracks, therefore it won't be 16" anymore in the centre.

Rails and rollers are great. I used it for windows. Because my doors were handmade and were 3/4" thick, some of the hardware wasn't compatible. I had to buy shorter bolds for the rollers. If you are installing the hardware on a concrete wall, please send us a message asking for specialized bolts. Their product is compatible with a door. If you have a thinner or thicker door, please contact us for the correct length of the bolts for the hangers. Please notify us to put spacer extensions in the package if you have thicker doors. The spacer extension will extend the track further from the wall to fit the thicker door. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the rail to the header board. You need to have at least 6" of space between the top of the door to the ceiling to accommodate the hardware. They use two hangers to hold one door. For a single-door kit, there will be two hangers in the package. For a double-door kit, there will be four hangers. If you have a door that is either too wide or too heavy, then you can purchase additional hangers for that door.

I shopped around for barn door hardware to convert bifold doors in a tight bedroom. This product had great reviews and was well priced.
