The "washed wood" look is much more pronounced in real life than how the online listing looks, which worked okay for us, but may be startling to others. Also, the one thing that cost the rating ONE STAR is how "sharp" the edges on the black desktop are... we ended up buying a custom-sized stitched leather desk topper for the desk which greatly enhanced the appearance and also makes it much more comfortable when we rest our arms on the edges while typing. While the bottom could home a pc, I was advised against for gpu performance reasons, but you totally could if you wanted to with the hole for cords in the back. there is a shelf that sits in there that I took out in the picture.. I didn’t like seeing that through the glass so I used black stock card behind the glass doors and that did the trick. I am considering changing the knobs to something more primitive.
