Not Bad. Products like these tend to have a bunch of "hits" and "misses". Some people who get them, and they function & look great, some people get one that's half broken or something is wrong, and have to go through hell to get it rectified. I looked around for a corner style entertainment unit with built in heater. There weren't many to pick from, and the ones that I did find, either didn't look as good, or they were way more expensive. This product is made in China. So right off the bat *can* be some what buyer-beware. I made sure to meticulously and carefully unpack each item and make sure it wasn't damaged in any way and that all the hardware was available. I've heard horror stories of people having to re-manufacture their own parts or fix them and "good thing my husband is a carpenter" posts. Thankfully that did not happen. All but one piece was perfectly intact. One panel along the base is missing a very small amount of stain/paint as it chipped off likely during the coating process. I figure I can deal with that with just a color matched paint pen from a local craft store. Instructions were PRETTY good. I didn't have to reassemble it 3 times like most stuff from Ikea. Took about 2 hours or so to put it together. I've seen some of the other reviews on this product complaining about them. There is a LOT of hardware to go onto each panel, and if you don't take your time and read carefully you might miss something! Pros: - Heat is good. Keeps our smallish living room nice and toasty. Has multiple pre-set levels (measured in *F) and an ON-always setting. - Fake 'fire' lighting has 3 or 4 different brightness settings. Heat & lighting also controlled with supplied remote! - Feels sturdy when moving it around, doesn't feel like its going to bend or break apart. - Instructions not hard to follow. Cons: - one panel was missing some paint. A small section along an edge, about 1-2mm wide, and 25cm long. Will get a paint pen to match it up. Not a huge concern. - I wish it was a little wider, a little bigger. Its not horrible. I advise buyers to really measure the space they wish to use it in, and make sure they will be happy with the dimensions. - Biggest gripe (My own fault for not measuring) - it doesn't accommodate my amp/receiver. The actual inside physical dimensions of the top shelf MIGHT allow for it, but the moulding around the the outside front of it is such that it doesn't fit. HOWEVER, because my TV is wall mounted above the unit, I am able to place the receiver on the top of the unit. It's not ideal, and its not the way i would prefer it, but I'll live with it - however buyers should be aware that their receivers may not fit. It may be possible to modify the rear to place the receiver inside that way, but that gets into the "good thing *I'm* or *my husband* is a carpenter" territory. .... I'm not interested that much effort. All in all, its a good unit.. I recommend it. But do your homework better than I did... Bradford. AB. 2019-02-11 18:31:20
