The item arrived in good condition. Easy to assemble except when mounting it. You have to remove at least one of the back board in order to mount it securely. Love it!!! The reviews are correct. We needed to sand each piece due to the rough cut edges and then stain them. Some of the pieces are not straight, and some are not cut to an inch.
