So easy to put together! Just the top part to screw on. I purposely took both of these pictures for perspective. I bought the larger one in PetValue 3 years ago because I have a 30 pound maincoone. I bought the one on the left thinking it was the same. Didn't measure my old or look at measurements (Ugh) so my maincoone really can't maneuver this one, but my 12 pound calico loves it. The carpet isn't as tight, so we'll see how long this lasts. This is a very honest review but I think it may help some potential buyers. Better for smaller cats, really nice!. Nancy. I was fearful when I read the reviews AFTER i ordered and I had nothing to worry about. Despite the fact that it arrived late and took forever to get here this cat tree is amazing! Its large and sturdy. The beds are big enough for a large cat and it took me about 5 minutes to assemble. The carpet is soft and high quality (for a cat tree). Extremely pleased with this purchase.
