Sturdy. Easy to assemble in a reasonable amount of time- would definitely be easier with two people, but totally possible solo. Bought for my 10 yr old she loves it. Looks nice. The only drawback I see is that when making the bed, the ends of the scroll design are kinda sharp catch the sheets on the foot end (11 mattress) if you arent careful.
