This is a quality piece of furniture! Follow the instructions for assembly & allow two hours. It's a 2 person job...plus at least an hour to unpackage. The granite top is heavy. I ordered the item & easily tracked it to delivery. I paid the up charge to have the delivery guys move it to the exact spot I would be using it. That was worthwhile!! Very impressed with quality!!. Counter top great. Came in 3 packages; easy to assemble. However, the black bottom section and several "seams" lost their paint - not there in some areas, and actually fell off in long thin strips in other areas (see photos attached) Not pleased with that at all, will have to touch it up. I'm posting two pictures of our Cottage Oak island because I didn't see any other user reviews with this type. We were a bit worried about the wood types mismatching in our kitchen but we're quite pleased with how it turned out. The island looks and works quite well. I spent about 4-5 hours assembling it all and a portion of that time was just managing all the cardboard and styrofoam that comes with it! The assembly was pretty straight forward although the directions can be a bit misleading but nothing serious. I was happy to see the foldable leaf is held with a non slip plastic device so you don't accidentally knock it while sitting. The only issue I had was with one of the cupboards not closing tightly to the magnet and I had to loosen the hinge screws a touch to give it some flex when it closed.
