Great size for Toddlers! It says for ages 2-10, but I think it would be too small for kids 5+, but its perfect for my 17 month old! It took me approximately 10 hrs total to do it on my own (minus the slide that I still have to do - wish that came already together!). Yes some of the wood does split unfortunately but other than that it went together well with clear instructions. Also, I LOVE the little kitchen stove it comes with! I didn't realize the blender actually works and the pots make bubbling and sizzling sounds! I held off putting it in the playhouse because my little guy loves playing with it inside.
