After reading some reviews about receiving the item damaged, I was concerned about damage to the playset but the kitchen had no damage. It was securely packaged in the box with styrofoam and protectors to protect the doors. Instructions were thorough and easy to follow. It was easy to assemble, but did take a little time. My husband did have to fix the ice cube dispenser so it would dispense the cubes. It was a simple fix putting two holes in the fridge door to allow two posts on the dispenser from prohibiting the cubes to dispense. Can't wait to give it to our grandsons for their birthday.. First problem was that a couple of the pieces were broken upon arrival. However, customer service was super responsive and shipped us new parts within a week. Next, the instructions are very confusing, especially if you wish to assemble this table with the long side facing left. However, after all is said and done, the table looks great and the quality is superb once all of the pieces are put together correctly. Setup was done by 2 people at most times, as mentioned, there were points of confusion. When the pieces were found to be broken, we couldnt resume until the pieces were shipped to us, which had been quick. After having this nook for a month, it works really well - we use it everyday for breakfast, and dinner. The cushions are comfy enough for eating, and the bench is a nice addition for when there is not enough room on the main bench. You can fit about 4-5 people with this nook, depending on how big people are. One thing that I wish was a bit better was the sturdiness of the table, as it can move if you push it a tiny bit. Was able to put together by myself in a couple hours. Instructions easy to follow. Did mess up on one of the hinges and had to switch it. When I did, the correct hinge ended up not laying flush to the door probably due to the flimsy nature of the materials (pictured). Paint on one of the burners came chipped (pictured).
