I was hesitant to spend this much on a garbage can, like most people might be, but after reading reviews I went ahead, and I couldn't be happier! This garbage can is a beautiful rose gold type colour, and very practical! It fits nicely beside the wall and looks much more aesthetically pleasing than a standard round can. The step pedal lid is convenient and sturdy, and the lid shuts silently. I also thought the bin was going to be too short in height and therefore not hold enough garbage, but I have found it is not the case, as the size is medium and still holds quite a lot. I love this, until now I’ve been hanging a plastic shopping bag on a cupboard handle leaving my recycling on the counter next to my sink where they can be rinsed, this is such an upgrade. I’m not usually one to leave a review but I did see a few that had me questioning this purchase prior to ordering. First was about the sizing not being big enough but we are a family of five this will get the job done perfectly for us, I do not like to leave garbage inside for long. Before this I was bringing our little Safeway bag full of garbage out daily with this size it’ll probably be every second day. The other thing I was reading about was that the bins do not come far enough out which I think is user error, not manufacturer. If installed correctly you shouldn’t have an issue. I’ve attached quite a few photos to try to show every angle you can see that even the recycling bin is easily accessible. My household loves this new addition to the small space we call home. It looks great! Nice size. Closing is soft anf quiet. Unfortunately, i receives the items with a big dent in it. The packaging and the box in came.in are completely intact..so.the dammage to the item happend BEFORE it was put in its box. So, no quality review on the manufacturers part..
