I'm so sad. I had a Layzboy office chair for 10 years and it's just left my desk a few moments ago. I replaced it with this because the upholstery was worn off the armrests on the old one. It was giving me a rash. I paid a third for that old chair of what I paid for this one. This chair.. well they don't make them like they used to. We're old and really should have paid extra to have it assembled but, we didn't. It was a 'special' kind of trauma putting it together ... but it's together. This morning this chair feels pretty good. The seat depth could be an inch longer but it's still comfortable. The arms could be an inch longer, I guess like a new pair of shoes, it will take a little while to get used to the change but all in all it's a nice looking comfortable chair and the tell tale sign is ... the cat likes it too. Sorry but: Edit: February 12/2025. Well, it leans forward so you have the sensation of it not being deep enough and you start to slide out. This puts you in a position that hurts your back. I'm so sorry but this really isn't the chair I thought it was going to be. It's certainly not for big OR tall people. Perhaps the hydraulic lift is, but the chair itself is not.
