The electric fire is good. One thing I wanna to complain is the screws for hold the wood box and the electric fire part together is hard to use without a drill. It is not really a easy work to assembling. Because we are having carpet, it naturally fall a little to the front, I have to use some pepper to make the front higher to make it stand straight. Its expensive yes but Im telling you its worth it. This fireplace is large and makes a statement in your room. I didnt want something that looked like a piece of furniture, I wanted a built in look. It comes in 2 boxes. I had FedEx hold it at its facility as I wasnt going to be home. The box just fit in my Ford Escape with the passenger seat all the way forward. It is heavy! VERY easy to put together but WARNING! Be very careful not to over tighten the support screws Into the top of mantel and front plate - i started to notice the veneer bubble and backed off the screw - it would have gone through. Everything was incredibly well wrapped, no scratches or little imperfections and the company seemed to take great care in overall quality. The flame looks really nice and natural, amazing quality wood and product. Put it together myself in an hour, instructions are very easy and straightforward. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is for some pieces the screw holes just do not line up at all, and there’s no way to secure the piece, but it was only a few of them and they’re sandwiched in pretty good so I don’t think it’s going to impact the ‘secureness’ of anything. So incredibly pleased with this purchase. This was the piece that just made the room. Easy to put together and even easier to use. The heater works amazing, but the fan does make some noise (pretty minimal). We added a little reinforcement to the mantelpiece because our TV is somewhat heavy.
