I love these dishes. I have been looking for a set of china that i would love. Didn’t want any overly cluttered pattern and I am just not in love with the all white trend. The Watercolour Forest is truly a classy set. Beautiful muted pattern. I also wanted something that didn’t weigh as much as the stoneware that I have bought for years. UPDATE Wayfair replaced the chipped parts, and now I’ve had a chance to use the mugs...not at all dainty! They can withstand the microwave no problem, and even with a busy household of chaos, they’ve stood up to both hot and cold drinks, microwave ‘cake in a cup’, and have even survived a dog’s tail sending it flying!! I’d 100 recommend this set to anyone! And Wayfair too!! Changing from a 4-star to a 5-star review for these reasons! Never seen my family eating so many fruit snacks, and I attribute it to the dessert bowls!! Quick and easy to fill, small enough to have around without getting in the way near computer or laptop, yet big enough to get my teens to eat their healthy snacks again!! - - - - - - - - - Decent set, just the style desired. ) The mug handles feel a bit too small or dainty weak, but we’ll see, with use. The bowls and all plates seem sturdier than the mugs. The dessert bowls can hold more than one cup of food. The plates, stacked, take up only 4-5 inches height in the cupboard. The bowls could be stacked to six in my cupboard, but they are pretty wobbly stacked higher than 4-5. Same with the dessert bowls. I would have given it five stars, but.... My biggest issue is that the picture did not clearly replicate the size of some of the dishes. The small bowls were MUCH MUCH smaller than I thought and the mugs were bigger and heavier than expected.
