For a standing desk, there is a very good amount of storage, and I love how easy it is to transition from sitting to standing. Some reviews say the quality is bad, but I think you get what you pay for. Obviously, it’s not a solid wood desk, but the pieces are sturdy and heavy weight. Unfortunately, there is a pretty big gap above the barn doors, and they are fairly loud when you slide them back-and-forth. Also, the desk drawers don’t seem to sit level, so when you push them in, sometimes they get stuck. You sort of have to lift one side of the drawer to get them to go in.. Wendy. Tewksbury, MA. This desk is just what I wanted. The directions are detailed and clear, but I made a mistake installing an underside piece of wood. Fortunately all I had to do was remove one of the 25 screws from the top and it went on okay. There is one mistake with which hole to put the side tracks in on the left side. Unfortunately I had to remove and reinstall all 4 tracks. My only serious complaint is Fed Ex left this extremely heavy box just barely inside my garage where the heavy rain soaked the box. I got this desk to update my daughters play area, as seen from pictures. You can't see the desk, but it's there. It's a good size, not too big and not too small and the colors are as described on the webpage. Assembly was normal for this type of desk. Drawers slide well and hold a decent amount of precious small things. I like how the shelves are accessible from both sides rather than having a back (see other pic). I did pick up the desk to move it and snapped the top part off....very jankily kept together, so if you move it...use two people and be mindful where you grab cus that top desk part will blow off in a mild sneezing fit.
