Received down alternative comforter set today. In no way this is down alternative as the name is advertising it. It is very soft and supple but thin comforter filled with nothing more then polyester fiber inside and out. We have comforters thicker then this one. Not impressed with Woolrich brand anymore as this set came full of threads and strings that were not removed by quality control in the Chinese warehouse were they were making this set for pennies. I will keep the set due to its looks and fabric feel but I would never re- purchase this knowing how thin it is. Now we definitely need to get flannel sheets to feel warm. If you get super cold at night during winter months, save yourself some money and get down alternative duvet not this set. The name is misleading and this is what made me purchase this set. Love this duvet covered set. We live in a climate that can get up to -38 Celsius and we use this as our winter set. I’ve had it for about 5 years and it’s held up really well. The only thing it was missing in my opinion was ties at the corners to hold your duvet in place. I ended up sewing my own in on the inside corners and it’s been great!. Rachel.
