Love this platform for our guest bed. Texture is great, black color perfect, easy to assemble. The headboard has two height adjustments, I picked the lower one. Read all the directions first, if you tighten all the screws too much, it may need to be adjusted before the last step. This bed was primarily bought for staging so price vs looks was the deciding factor in purchasing. We were also looking for a low frame with a designer look, and upholstered corners to protect our shins in a tight space. Price could be slightly lower for what you get, but overall we're quite happy. The plusses are easy assembly (1 person took 20 min), stable no squeak frame, nice designer shape, comfy headboard. The downside is the boucle fabric is a bit thin and the upholstery foam is also not very cushy. Also, it would be great if the manufacturer could provide additional holes on the back of the headboard to allow this to fit lower or higher as needed for the size of the mattress.
