Great Grandma, 75 years old, lives alone. It has rained all day, and the box got wet somewhere along the line in shipping, but no damage happened to the contents. Couldn't move it from the covered porch or even drag it because it weighed 103 pounds, so I tore the box apart right there on the porch and took each piece out and put it inside the house. I put this together in under an hour. It was actually rather fun to do. Instructions were right here on the site and they were easier to read when I printed them out in big pics and print. All parts were there, they fit exactly as described and I had no trouble putting it together. Not hard at all. I love the fabric which is not like the plush fabric of expensive furniture. It will be much easier to clean when my fur babies leave their hair on it. One dog and 2 cats. It looks a little squished right after assembly, so I'm hoping that the cushions will fluff up overnight. This'll do me just fine, and I'm kind of proud of myself for doing it by myself.. Oldladyj7. This sofa is very nice! A quality piece for a great price. I’m a 60 year old woman s d put it together myself. Didn’t take very long at all the hardest part was wrestling the cushions into the covers. Gave me quite a workout! The delivery ticked me off but that’s really on FedEx and not Wayfairs fault. The box the sofa was delivered it arrived opened and had been partially retaped closed, but fortunately all of the parts were still in the box and intact. Once we got the box in the house and started putting it together the process was fairly simple- with one exception. When you follow the assembly instructions, in Step 2 you are supposed to place a washer in between the Arm Frame and the Back Frame. It was challenging to line up the holes while keeping the washer in place- our solution was to tape the washer over the hole in the Arm Frame, poking a hole through the tape in the center of the washer, then the washer would stay in place when you put the Arm Frame and Back Frame together in preparation to screw in the Thumb Bolt.
