Amazing quality. Heavy and thick and the texture is substantial. The rods are on both sides, which is great. The three downsides are 1) the panels are inserted into the rails with the left most side sitting on the back rail, and the right side sitting on the front rail. You cannot switch this around. For us this means that the left side is touching the handle of our sliding door, which is the only door we use. It would have been better for us to have the left panel sit farthest from the door 2) the panels dont line up automatically. I think this has to do with our door being on the shorter width, and so if we had a larger opening, it would sit more evenly when closed. 3) the top needs a small valance to cover the top portion. It would look cleaner, but since we did cut some fabric off the bottom, I will probably work on a little project to create a valance. Overall, I liked this sliding door hardware kit. I bought it for my house entry way shoe closet and also for my kid's bedroom wardrobe. It does need a professional help and those tools that we don't keep at home, so it is definitely not a DIY. Keep that in mind. The lower black plastic door pass holder is very important for the doors to not dangle and fall off on anyone, so make sure that is installed rightaway on the floor. My issue was that one of the kit's front door roller is getting stuck in the middle part whether I slide the door right or left. It get's stuck and moves ahead after that freeze and shake. That is disturbing and I checked the whole rail and attachments and couldn't find anything. To report it, I did the option but there was no option to ask for a repair or a replacement part for the roller attachment. Just to register a complaint/resolution request, I checked the compensation option and immediately emailed the customer care too. What they did was issued a small amount as compensation and said that since the amount is compensated, nothing else could be done, which was such a bummer. In my email, I clearly told them that I want the resolution to be the replacement part of the roller attachment, so I could see if that makes the sliding smoother.
