Want a hidden piece of litter box furniture? This litter box storage cabinet with x modern chic is exactly what you're looking for! The quality wood frame and metal hinges are durable and long-lasting. Cats can gently step up the steps on the left side, through the arched cat hole, and into the litter box inside the large drawer to defecate freely and safely. The table top with a fence can be designed as a cat bed or put some decorations. This is definitely ideal for families with both cats and dogs!
- Extra long life - Made of high-quality solid wood and metal hinges with a top weight capacity of 100 lbs.
- Dog-proof hidden design - A cat hole and steps on one side allow your cat free access, except for dogs.
- Litter trap - The long runway can be used as a litter trap to collect the litter dropped when the cat leaves.
This litter box enclosure is just what I wanted to keep the dog away from the cat litter and allow my cat a stress-free, uninterrupted trip to his box. Bonus has been not having a trail of kitty litter throughout the house! The black enclosure in a small bright white room has a much larger appearance than I expected. The black also tends to show a bit of litter dust (from dust-free litter!) but helps remind me to keep things clean. I carefully assembled using wood glue and once assembled, it was very solid. I left the doors off for the first few days to give the cat a chance to be comfortable with going in. Because of the hollow space between the drawer and cabinet base, it’s quite loud when my cat jumps down into the unit. I wanted to frost the clear windows however realize that being able to see my cat occasionally as he’s using his box is best. He unfortunately scratches the soft plastic clear doors to tap off his toes so being able to easily slide the plastic inout to replace would be a nice improvement. Initially this tapping caused the doors to bang openclosed over and over but after installing a magnetic baby lock on the inside of each door, that solved the issue. I don’t think the drawer is overly necessary but would be a good thing for anyone with a bad back or mobility issues that needs to slide the drawer out slightly to access the litter box. **Beware if you pull it out too far, the weight of the litter box will cause the drawer to tip out of the unit!!** perhaps the manufacturer could work on an improvement here.
Overall I would highly recommend this unit!. Melissa. British Columbia, Canada. 2025-03-29 14:13:36
