Thankfully I purchased this on sale. I would have been really disappointed if I had paid over $200. for this croquet set. The mallets post do not screw into the mallot foot nicely. We did get all mallets put together but I won't be taking them apart to store. I think the more they are screwed and unscrewed they would need to be glue together. The threading is cheaply done. It was to be a gift. But now that we do not want to take the mallets apart, it cannot fit into storage kit for gift wrapping. Not the end of the world. Love the extra long croquet handles, mine arrived partly put together and I wondered if somebody else had returned it due to issues with installation. There was one piece of the carrier that was really challenging to put together as you needed an extra long screw driver. There was some macgyvering involved. The leather straps are not great quality, and the strap to hold the croquet hoops is barely long enough. But the mallets/bocce balls/hoops themselves, I'm happy with the quality and glad I made the investment. *please ignore how the mallets aren't lined up matching colours with the bocce balls, I bought this as a birthday present for an anarchist and it shows..
