I was needing a dog crate in a certain size. I have older style good crates, but needed another one the same size to fit in the rear seat of my cab pickup truck. I searched and searched for the correct size until I found this one. Correct size. It is not as "heavy duty" as my good older ones, but it is a crate. The plastic is thinner and not as rigid; and the door is made of a powder coated type lighter gauge wire. If you had a puppy that chews, they would probably make a meal of this one due to the lighter construction. However, if you are simply needing a crate in general, it is fine.
