We love these. They are a good weight, good finish, and fit into our dishwasher easily. They are classy enough to be used on special occasions in addition to regular use. The product description doesn’t specify black stainless, but the photos, especially in comparison to the regular polished Wave flatware led me to believe that these were a matte black stainless flatware set. They are just brushed finish, and while they feel great in hand, they look very top heavy in comparison to the regular polished as the matte handle doesn’t have the same visual weight.
