I wish 3.5 existed. I chose the walnut with brown seat. It's a perfectly fine stool, nice design lines and attractive, but has the feel of a mid quality product at best. Given its cost, I guess that's fair. It's typical Chinese make but also not very costly. With some extra wood oil and elbow grease, since it's not a grain filled veneer, you can get a nicer feel on it and better protection, on your own. I ordered 2, at different times. Very comfortable, elegant and love the swivel. Easy to setup. Durability is questionable, we have been using these chairs for a couple of months and where the arm rest hits under the counter top, the paint is chipping off. This is happening with all 4 chairs.. They’re ok. I really liked the idea of what these were - the moulded wood as the seat but they don’t look as nice in reality as they do in the pictures. The finishing touches are a bit poor too. Example the ball-bearings that allow the seat to swivel are very exposed, as is the piece of plywood() that connects the ball-bearing piece to the seat - see my pictures for a visual. They’re very lightweight too, which doesn’t seem to bode well for their longevity. It makes them a little unstable too. These are beautiful stools. They were not hard to put together. They are very comfortable to sit on and they swivel smoothly. The are very stylish and they look great in our kitchen.
