Our attractive 1/2" Thick Glass with a 1-inch diamond-cut beveled edge, tempered, low profile ( 1" high from the table to the top of the glass) Glass Lazy Susan's, revolves 360 degrees to gives everyone at the table easy access to condiments, salt, pepper, and full meals. Great for serving full-course meals and holding wine bottles, wine glasses, condiments, etc., at the same time.
Most Glass Lazy Susan's offered on the internet are multiple glass layers produced as annealed glass. Our glass is tempered (toughened through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling during the manufacturing process) and produced as one single piece to produce a unique glass that is three or more times stronger than annealed glass.
We use a beautiful architectural/industrial bearing with a proprietary heavy-duty spun aluminum case specifically manufactured for our Glass Lazy Susans, guaranteed to spin quietly and smoothly. The spun aluminum bearing casing is not permanently attached to our Glass Lazy Susan, The bearing casing has several anti-skid silicone pads inserted into the top and bottom of the bearing unit, so the bottom of the bearing will rest on any hard surface without sliding and the glass will rest on top of the bearing and will not slide, making it much easier to lift the Glass Susan straight up to clean and polish both sides of the tempered glass, lubricate the bearing when needed and also avoid getting water, etc. into the bearing.
Each ball bearing is separated by a silicon insert, so the balls do not touch but rotate within a silicon spacer when Silicon Oil is added, the bearing is ultra smooth and extremely quiet clatter:)
Silicone Oil lubrication must be applied to each ball bearing before first use for an ultra-smooth, quiet, rotation.
Keep your Lazy Susan Glass Top clean by simply using any commercial glass cleaner like Windex, after each use, dry it with a clean paper towel or let it air dry. Centre the glass back onto the top of the bearing and you are ready to serve.
