Easy to install, classier looking than a plastic baby gate. The door opening mechanism is a little weird compared to other ones I'm used to but I like that it automatically closes if I don't open it past 90 degrees. My one complaint is I wish the little cat door could either be removed or secured in an open position - I leave it open so that my dog can't get through but the cats have access to where their food and litter are, but with the cat door always open it just kind of swings freely around when I open and close the big door. Love the height of the gate, easy to open and close. Will close behind you on its own but f you push past a certain point it will remain open as well. Can swing the gate both directions.
