Excellent quality, but the details of the fabrication are difficult to work with. Definitely not an installation job for an average DIY'er. The mounting plates are far to tight. The amount of extreme pressure required to place the shelf onto the mounting brackets would have cracked the ceramic tile of the shower surround. The inserts that should slide into the wall mount brackets had to be ground down to fit comfortably onto the mounting bracket but still maintain enough friction so the shelf isn't easily knocked off the brackets. So far so good! I love that it’s a bar but also a shelf. I bought it mostly for more shelf space! I didn’t know where the studs were located because my bathroom was already finished, so I went against recommendations and anchored it with toggler alligator anchors and it seems strong. it is a stone corner shelf installation system which allows someone to install a stone corner shelf onto grouted or non-grouted tiled walls. The standard stone shelf has been modified by cutting a 1/16”- 3/32” wide x 1”-2” deep channel at or close to the centre of the shelf, which then allows the mounting plates to slide into the channel of the stone shelf, you also must be able to slide the mounting plates into the wall, by removing enough grout or material so the mounting plates can easily fit half way into the wall. The use of glue is required for the mounting plates and shelf to be permanently anchored to the wall.

• Replace or repair, it makes this much easier to do with less of a chance of damaging the surrounding tiles.
