Started off great, then the "diesel engine" noise started, which turned out to be the extremely cheap circulation fan inside the cabinet. As mentioned by another reviewer, the manufacturer is awful at responding to questions. Their chat representative started to respond and then completely blew me off. Wayfair was awesome and compensated me.
However, this issue IS fixable by removing the interior racks and rear-inside panel, then replacing the small $2 "PC" fan with a good $20 one. Requires a bit of electrical skill but it's not that hard, especially if you want to take it to an appliance repair shop. If you're lucky and the fan never goes off its axis (resulting in chainsaw-like noises in your kitchen) then so much the better.
Also not documented, there seems to be an auto-defrost feature that kicks-in, which will make the temperature rise quite a bit, but it's temporary and shouldn't affect the wine. Would just be nice if they could document it in the manual so people don't panic that something's wrong. Overall a decent unit (minus the fan). The touch controls are a bit finicky but the multi-colour lighting is a nice touch.. April. Peterborough, ON. 2023-02-13 12:04:08
