Was very easy to put together. Came with an allen key and no other tools were required. I understand why people are concerned about long-term sturdiness because there is only one screw at the bottom of each towel bar, and a short one at that. The appearance is the same as in the pics. I like the size but it’s not very sturdy - more decorative than functional especially if pulling a towel from the side instead of straight up.
